We are looking for a motivated, experienced Tax Manager to help our expanding tax practice. In addition to having at least six years of experience in public accounting, the candidate must possess great leadership abilities and a strong work ethic.
The ideal candidate will be a tax generalist who oversees the preparation of tax returns for intricate business, individual, and trust situations. They will also conduct in-depth research and analysis on a variety of tax-related topics, spot and seize opportunities for tax planning and consulting, and collaborate closely with the lead tax partner on complex M&A transactions.

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Tax Manager to lead our tax department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing tax compliance, planning, and advisory services, ensuring our clients receive the best possible tax solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of various tax structures and the ability to manage complex tax issues for a diverse portfolio of clients.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and oversee all aspects of tax compliance and reporting for various entities including S Corps, C Corps, Partnerships, and Non-Profits.
Develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimize client tax positions and minimize liabilities.
Review and prepare tax returns for a variety of entities including individuals, estates, and trusts.
Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights on tax implications of business decisions and changes in tax regulations.
Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
Stay updated on current tax laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and identifying opportunities for clients.
Prepare complex tax returns including 1065, 1120, and 1120S, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IRS requirements.
Qualifications
Active CPA license is required.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in tax services, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
Strong knowledge of tax compliance, planning, and reporting for various entity types including C Corporations, S Corporations, and Partnerships.
Experience with Ultra Tax and CCH ProSystems is preferred.
Familiarity with high net worth individual tax planning and compliance.
Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage client relationships and team dynamics.
