We are a large and well established ground-up contractor in Hartford, CT, looking for a Superintendent with K-12 experience to join our team to focus on projects in Connecticut.

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee K-12 construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role demands strong leadership skills, effective communication, and a thorough understanding of construction processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of K-12 construction projects
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
• Manage project schedules and budgets
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and subcontractors
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including school administrators and project owners
• Prepare and submit progress reports and documentation
• Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in construction
• Experience with K-12 construction projects
• Strong knowledge of construction processes and best practices
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficiency in project management software and tools
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred
