Superintendent - GC Industrial / Heavy Commercial

Position Overview
The Superintendent will oversee and manage construction projects specializing in industrial and heavy commercial construction. The role emphasizes ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards, while maintaining a safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all day-to-day operations on the construction site.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and construction workers.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets.
• Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
• Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Prepare and review project documentation, including submittals and change orders.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to specifications.
• Implement standard operating procedures (SOP) for project management.
• Ensure accurate estimating and budgeting processes are followed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Superintendent in industrial or heavy commercial construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction management processes and techniques.
• Familiarity with project management software such as Sage 300, Procore, or Prolog.
• Excellent understanding of construction safety standards and regulations.
• Ability to manage budgets and schedules effectively.
• Strong interpersonal and client management skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
