Job Title: Sr. Accountant / Assistant Controller - Viewpoint/Vista

Requirements: 3+ Years Experience as Senior Accountant overseeing at least $50+ Mil in Construction Costs
We are a rapidly growing general contractor & civil subcontractor that has been around for over 8 years running over $100mil in work already! We are continuing to expand as we build out our corporate office and are opening new offices in surrounding states. We have multimillion $ contracts already awarded and are looking to bring on a full time assistant controller in our corporate office in Danvers, to oversee all the job cost accounting for the company and assist the CFO in higher level financial reporting.
- Senior Accountant that is a full charge bookkeeper (construction project experience)
- Run everyday accounting operations for development and construction projects.
- Complete full owner draw package for lender submission
- Prepare required sales tax reports for individual states.
- Job cost reconciliations, monthly.
- Track and collect lien waivers for work
- Project job cost accounting
- Oversee different cash management functions and accounts payable for development/construction projects.
- Whatever else is required by the CFO who you will report to directly.
- Be groomed to take over as the controller in 1-3 years
- A bachelor's degree in a related field
- 3+ Years' Experience:
- Full Charge Bookkeeping for Construction, Architecture, or engineering Accounting
- Sage & Quickbooks (Vista/Viewpoint preferred)
- Job Cost Accounting (over $20mil projects)
- Accrual Accounting, Coordinating Payroll, AP, AR, and GL
