We are an award-winning, privately held General Contractor that specializes in various construction projects including industrial, retail, office, and medical projects. We have developed a solid reputation among clients over the past 30+ years for offering highly technological construction services in a secure working environment. We are looking for an experienced Estimator with experience working on Tilt-Up projects to assist with our projects in the Atlanta.
The Estimator will lead the estimating efforts ensure that all construction projects receive accurate, timely, and comprehensive cost estimates (including conceptual and hard bid opportunities). Under the supervision of the Director of Pre-Construction and Senior Estimators, they will evaluate data from bids, jobs currently in progress, and jobs that have already been finished to determine market competitiveness and profitability. In order to ascertain the scope of work and necessary components of the estimate, the Estimator will also be the one to evaluate proposal specifications, drawings, attend pre-bid meetings, etc.
- 3+ Years Construction Estimating experience, particularly with Big Box Retailers and Light Industrial projects
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering strongly preferred
- An advanced understanding of cost control and estimating methods along with working familiarity with all areas of commercial construction
- Proven leadership & mentorship skills with the ability to lead an estimating team
- Ability to estimate the entire project from initial planning to completion including researching the materials, sourcing options, labor, and permit costs for a given project
- $85,000 - $110,000 salary based on experience
