Senior Civil Engineer
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer to lead and manage various civil engineering projects from conception through completion. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in land development and will be proficient in the use of AutoCAD Civil 3D. This position requires strong design skills and a deep understanding of civil engineering principles, particularly in site design, grading, drainage, and stormwater management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and execution of civil engineering projects including land development and site improvements.
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to create detailed site plans and grading designs.
- Conduct thorough analysis and design for drainage systems and stormwater management solutions.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineers to ensure project goals are met on time and within budget.
- Review and approve engineering plans, specifications, and estimates.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and design staff.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on land development and site design.
- Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other engineering software.
- Strong knowledge of civil design principles, grading, drainage, and stormwater management.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
