Position Overview
The Safety Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. This role includes conducting safety audits, training employees on safety practices, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement safety policies and procedures
Conduct regular safety audits and inspections
Train employees on safety protocols and procedures
Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes
Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and other safety standards
Maintain safety records and prepare reports for management
Collaborate with project managers to assess risks and implement safety measures

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Safety Management, Health or Environmental Science, or a related field
5+ years of experience in safety management in the construction industry
Certified Health and Safety Technician (CHST) or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification, or Advanced Safety Practitioner (ASP) certification preferred
Current CPR and First Aid certification preferred
Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety management practices
OSHA 500 certification preferred
Excellent communication and leadership skills
