Radiology Ultrasound Tech

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Radiology Ultrasound Tech to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating ultrasound equipment, conducting imaging procedures, and ensuring high-quality patient care while assisting physicians in diagnosing medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities

Perform ultrasound examinations on patients as per physician requests.
Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during procedures.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of ultrasound procedures.
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to discuss findings and assist in diagnosis.
Maintain and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
Adhere to safety and quality control protocols to ensure patient safety and high standards of care.

Qualifications

Current certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and/or American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
Proven experience as an Ultrasonographer or in a related role.
Knowledge of various ultrasound techniques including Breast Sonography and CT Scan.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
