Title: Production Manager - Manufacturing
Location: Janesville, Wi
Salary: $120,000 - $130,000 + Relocation
We are a mid-sized manufacturer for the automotive space and have customers across the US. Some of the industries our equipment is used in would include landscaping, freight, agriculture, public works and food distribution. For this Production Manager position you would be managing roughly 5 Production Supervisors + 80 associates / technicians at our manufacturing facility while leading the day to day operations of the facility (position reports to Director of Operations).
What You Will Be Doing
Provide leadership from the standpoint of production planning, product quality, problem resolution and cost control for the production floor.
Act as liaison between operations, sales, engineering & customer service
Anticipate issues on production floor and use continuous improvement & lean strategies
Mentor line & group leaders while providing proper communication to Director of Ops
What You Need for this Position
Associate's degree in Manufacturing / Business / etc at minimum
5+ years of production management experience on the manufacturing floor
Strong industrial manufacturing background (automotive space is a plus)
Experience w/ structural environment placement & turnaround
Lean manufacturing & continuous improvement knowledge / certifications
Ability to be a hands-on leader for 5 supervisors + dozens of associates / technicians
Ability to lead multi-functional projects across the department
Experience reading & interpreting blueprints, schematics & AutoCAD drawings
