Title: Plant R&D Scientist - Food Manufacturing
Location: Jonesboro, AR (Relocation Assistance Available)
Salary: $85,000-90,000/Year + Incentive Bonus & Relocation Available
Requirements: Must have at least 3-5 Years experience in a Food Scientist role. Ability to understand Lean Manufacturing and Continuous improvement methods in a high speed environment. Must have experience with plant audits, SQF/FDA practices as well as management experience. (Must have a 4 Year degree in a similar industry)
This position will perform as a frontline technical resource for sustaining and improving ingredient and product performance as well as KPI results for safety, quality, yield, rates, and efficiencies. Provide technical support and validation for products when implementing new formulas, ingredients, processes, and equipment. Improving and sustaining finished product identity at the plant level. Acts as a plant representative & consultant for product and process changes including new formulas, ingredients, processes, and equipment. Plant coordinator for commercialization of changes to existing products. Support, implement, and maintain food safety, food safety culture, and quality practices as required through SQF.
