Compensation: $70,000 - $85,000 Base Salary + PTO/401k and other Comprehensive Benefits

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Paralegal to support our legal team in various litigation matters. The ideal candidate will assist attorneys in preparing for hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings while ensuring compliance with legal standards and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Assist attorneys in preparing case files and legal documents for litigation
Conduct legal research to support case preparation and strategy
Organize and maintain case files, including filing and e-filing documents
Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
Communicate with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather information and documents
Assist in trial preparation by organizing evidence and exhibits
Monitor deadlines and ensure timely filings and responses to legal documents

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Completion of a paralegal studies program or relevant certification
Proven experience as a paralegal, preferably in litigation
Strong knowledge of legal terminology and procedures
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to conduct legal research using various resources and databases
Familiarity with filing, e-filing, and document management systems
Experience in insurance defense and product liability is a plus
