Position Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced, highly motivated Outside Sales Engineer to join our team and lead the sales of new boiler equipment and HVAC systems. As an Outside Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for contacting potential customers, providing technical sales presentations, and closing deals. You will also work with existing customers to ensure customer satisfaction and to provide upgrades and/or replacement equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain relationships with customers and prospects
Lead sales efforts to close deals and achieve sales goals
Provide technical sales presentations and product demonstrations
Analyze customer needs and offer appropriate solutions
Develop sales strategies to increase market share
Follow up on quotes and provide technical support
Assist customers with installation and maintenance of equipment
Negotiate and coordinate contracts with customers
Keep abreast of industry trends and new products
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineering
5+ years of sales experience in the boiler industry
Knowledge of steam theory and HVAC systems
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Proven record of meeting and/or exceeding sales goals
Valid drivers license and clean driving record
Willingness to travel in assigned territory
