Medical Malpractice Attorney 

Location: Washington, DC - Hybrid

Salary: $125,000 - $185,000+ Base Salary with additional opportunities for Bonuses. Also includes Full benefits, PTO, 401k matching and comprehensive Health Benefits.

Company Overview A mid-sized law firm headquartered in Washington, DC is seeking a skilled Medical Malpractice Attorney. Position Summary The firm is looking for an experienced Medical Malpractice Attorney to join its Personal Injury and Medical Malpractice team in Washington, DC. This role is ideal for a seasoned litigator passionate about advocating for victims of medical negligence. The attorney will handle complex medical malpractice cases across the DC metropolitan area, including Maryland and the District of Columbia. This is an in-office position requiring collaboration within a dynamic and client-focused legal environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in medical malpractice cases from initiation through resolution.
  • Conduct thorough case evaluations, legal research, and strategic litigation planning.
  • Manage a high-volume caseload while providing top-tier legal representation.
  • Oversee discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation.
  • Collaborate with expert witnesses and medical professionals.
  • Ensure compliance with local rules and procedures in relevant jurisdictions.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • A minimum of 4 years of medical malpractice litigation experience.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of medical malpractice laws and procedures.
  • Strong ability to navigate complex litigation and case management.
  • Active membership in good standing with the Maryland Bar (D.C. Bar admission preferred).
  • Proven track record in discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation.
