Marine Service Technician

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Marine Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for servicing and repairing various marine products and systems, ensuring that our clients' vessels are operating at peak performance. This role is critical in maintaining the safety and efficiency of marine equipment for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repair of marine systems including lighting, thrusters, stabilizers, and anchoring systems.
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with marine equipment such as wipers, seating, controls, doors, and hatches.
Install and upgrade marine products, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs and services.
Maintain accurate records of service work performed, parts used, and customer interactions.
Stay updated on the latest marine technologies and products, particularly LED systems and other advancements.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Marine Service Technician or similar role in the marine industry.
Strong knowledge of marine systems and equipment including but not limited to lighting, thrusters, stabilizers, and anchoring systems.
Technical degree or certification in marine technology, mechanics, or a related field.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
