Maintenance Supervisor

Position Overview
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair activities of industrial equipment and heavy machinery. This role ensures that all maintenance tasks are performed safely and efficiently in compliance with regulatory standards, such as OSHA and MSHA, while leading a team of skilled maintenance technicians.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the maintenance team to ensure timely and effective repairs and maintenance of equipment.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to enhance equipment reliability and performance.
• Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Coordinate with other departments to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption to operations.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Train and mentor team members on maintenance procedures, safety practices, and equipment operation.
• Assist in budgeting and planning for maintenance projects, including procurement of necessary parts and tools.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or similar role in an industrial setting, preferably in sand mining or oil industry. 
• Strong knowledge of industrial equipment and heavy machinery maintenance and repair.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and standards (OSHA, MSHA).
• Technical proficiency in maintenance management systems and tools.
• Possession of PCP Level 3 certification is preferred.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
