Litigation Paralegal - Mid Level
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mid Level Litigation Paralegal with 5+ years of experience to support our Litigation and Labor & Employment groups. In this role you will assist in various aspects of case preparation and management, ensuring that all legal documents are accurate and complete, and contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our legal services. Key Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys in preparing for trials and hearings by organizing case files and drafting necessary documents.
- Conduct legal research and gather evidence to support litigation efforts.
- Manage discovery processes, including drafting and responding to interrogatories and requests for production.
- Review and redline legal documents for accuracy and compliance with court rules.
- Maintain and organize case management systems using ProLaw and NetDocs.
- Coordinate and schedule depositions and court appearances, ensuring all logistical elements are in place.
- Prepare trial exhibits and assist in trial preparation activities.
Qualifications
- Paralegal certificate is REQUIRED
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in legal studies or related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal in a mid-size or large law firm(Labor & Employment experience is a plus)
- Proficient in drafting legal documents and managing discovery processes.
- Experience with ProLaw and NetDocs is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.
