Salary: $120K-$160K (salary depends on experience)

Position Overview
We are seeking a Lead Transmission Line Engineer to oversee the design and implementation of transmission line projects. The ideal candidate will lead a team of engineers and collaborate with various departments to ensure the successful execution of projects while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of transmission line projects from conception to execution.
Conduct structural analysis and modeling of transmission lines using state-of-the-art software.
Coordinate with civil and structural engineering teams to ensure integration of designs.
Review and approve engineering drawings and specifications for compliance with codes and standards.
Prepare and manage project budgets, schedules, and deliverables.
Conduct site assessments and geotechnical investigations as needed.
Supervise junior engineers and provide mentorship and guidance.
Ensure compliance with NESC, ASCE, and IEEE standards throughout project lifecycle.

Qualifications

PE License required
Minimum of 7 years of experience in transmission engineering and line design.
Proven experience with PLS-CADD, AutoCAD, and other relevant design software.
Strong knowledge of transmission line design, structure spotting, and load tree analysis.
Familiarity with utility regulations and standards including NESC and ASCE.
Excellent leadership and project management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
