Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Insurance Defense Attorney with a minimum of 3 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Macon, GA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance defense litigation and a proven track record of successfully handling complex cases. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a team of experienced attorneys and contribute to our firm's continued success.

Key Responsibilities

Represent clients in insurance defense litigation, including pre-trial, trial, and appellate proceedings.
Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and briefs.
Provide strategic legal advice to clients and develop effective defense strategies.
Manage a caseload of insurance defense matters from inception to resolution.
Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure high-quality legal representation.
Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations as required.

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Active membership in the Georgia State Bar.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in insurance defense litigation.
Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
