A top 1% nationally ranked individual recruiter, he’s helped hundreds of companies including Mid-Enterprise VARs and technology solutions providers find top talent while helping high-level Engineers find their next great opportunity.
Chuck has 20 years of experience in Recruiting and Sales Management, and he’s spent the last 10 years building and growing teams in Irvine and Los Angeles for CyberCoders. Now he’s spearheading our Southeast Expansion in Dallas / Fort Worth and South Florida.
Earlier this week, we had the opportunity to learn more about him and this exciting growth period at CyberCoders.
What excites you about the Dallas / Fort Worth and Palm Beach Gardens expansion?
I'm super excited that we’re bringing our unique culture of high performance and fun to each region. Both South Florida and Fort Worth are exploding with growth right now and we are going to be able to ramp up quickly in each of the new offices. We have a great core group of people that are helping to build each market up and I couldn't be more excited to be partnered with all of them.
You’ve been at CyberCoders for over 10 years now. What’s been the key to your success over the years?
Just being open to always learning, growing, and not being super "stuck in my ways" has been really helpful for me. I've worked with and learned from some amazing people here at CyberCoders and getting tips and advice from people with a lot of different approaches has been incredibly beneficial.
CyberCoders also is incredible at allowing people to play to their strengths; whether that means supporting their competitive drive and motivations through contests and transparency with everyone's numbers, allowing them to build their portfolio of business to their liking, or creating roles for them that are tailored to what they do best. For me, it’s been a great journey of being able to "recreate myself" throughout the last 10 years while still maintaining my strengths and focus areas that I really enjoy.
What personal and professional goals has CyberCoders helped you achieve?
On the personal side, something that immediately impacted how I looked at integrating my business and home life, was being given the flexibility to still be very supportive to clients while vacationing with my family across the U.S. or anywhere in the world. For my family, what CyberCoders has allowed me to do has been incredible: We bought our dream home in San Clemente and now that we’re in Florida our plan is to build our dream home here which we’re super excited about. CyberCoders has also made it possible for my wife to stay home with our three kids – our first born daughter and then surprise twin girls! I’m grateful that my career here makes it possible to offer them an excellent education and every opportunity for them to grow into the best versions of themselves.
From a professional standpoint, CyberCoders has challenged me and fueled my growth in a ton of different ways. It’s pushed me to hit personal bests numerous times over the years with billing #’s and really positioned me to have a great book of business that I’ve kept and continued to add to each and every quarter. It's allowed me to open up a new office for CyberCoders in Los Angeles from scratch, and then transfer to headquarters to get more exposure from upper management, and now having the opportunity to build out 2 new regions in high growth markets is incredible.

What advice would you give to someone interested in joining your team?
Bring your hustle and competitive spirit to the table! We're an outgoing group that is ambitious and has a ton of fun by putting ourselves in position to win as much as possible! The Full Desk Recruiters and Associate Managers that we’ve hired here over the years have come in and doubled or tripled the amount of billing that they did at their previous agencies so just be ready to take on and productively handle a ton more than what you have been able to previously!
