Project Manager - Heavy Civil/Marine Projects

Position Overview
We are seeking a Heavy/Civil Project Manager to oversee and manage heavy civil and marine construction projects in Vallejo, CA. When you join our team, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects while ensuring that they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. If you have 5+ years of experience, a strong background in heavy/civil construction, and an understanding of project management principles, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage heavy civil and marine projects from initiation to completion.
Develop project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget.
Conduct contract negotiations and management effectively.
Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies effectively.
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Monitor project progress and performance, making adjustments as necessary.
Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders and management.
Estimate project costs and manage budgets to ensure profitability.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management preferred.
5+ years proven experience as a Project Manager in heavy civil or marine construction projects.
Strong skills in contract negotiation and management in required.
Experience with project scheduling and estimating.
Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve project goals.
Proficiency in Excel and Word is a must. AutoCAD, Primavera and EPR software, Sage Timberline is a plus.
Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations in construction.
