Employment Law Associate Attorney

Position Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated Associate Attorney to join our employment practice group in Boston. The successful candidate will provide expert legal counsel on a variety of employment law matters, representing clients in litigation and helping them navigate complex employment issues. If you have 4+ years of experience in employment law and are to join a team with opportunity for growth, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft and review employee handbooks and policies to ensure compliance with employment laws.
  • Represent clients in employment-related litigation, including discrimination, wrongful termination, and wage and hour disputes.
  • Provide legal advice and counseling to clients on employment law matters, including breach of contract and retaliation claims.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents, including pleadings and discovery materials.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of employee training programs on employment law topics.
  • Stay updated on changes in employment law and provide training to clients and colleagues as needed.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD)
  • Active license to practice in MA- license in RI is a plus!
  • 4+ years of experience in employment law, with a focus on litigation.
  • Strong understanding of employment regulations and labor laws.
  • Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
