Commercial Construction Drywall Project Manager

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Drywall Project Manager to oversee projects valued at $1 million and above. The ideal candidate will manage all aspects of drywall installation and construction, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of commercial construction processes.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee drywall installation projects from inception to completion
Develop project schedules and budgets, ensuring adherence to timelines and financial constraints
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to facilitate project execution
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle
Lead site supervision efforts, providing guidance and support to construction teams
Manage client relations, addressing any concerns or changes in project scope
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality control
Negotiate contracts and manage change orders effectively
Implement risk management strategies to mitigate project challenges
Prepare project reports and updates for stakeholders

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction with a focus on drywall projects
Strong knowledge of drywall installation techniques and materials
Experience in managing projects with budgets exceeding $1 million
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in construction management software and tools
Familiarity with safety compliance regulations and practices
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field is preferred
