We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Traveling Civil Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of civil construction projects. Our construction firm manages wastewater, dam expansions, large diameter pipeline, underground utility projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards for our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of civil engineering projects from inception to completion.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Coordinate and lead project teams, including engineers, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and resolving any issues or delays.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement on-site.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience as a Civil Project Manager, preferably in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and techniques.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
