Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Civil Defense Attorney with a minimum of 3 years in civil defense litigation to join our dynamic Chicago team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing complex cases, providing strategic legal counsel, and upholding our firm's tradition of excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Handle a diverse caseload of civil defense litigation matters from inception through resolution.
Develop and implement effective legal strategies tailored to client needs.
Conduct thorough legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other court documents.
Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations.
Collaborate closely with clients, colleagues, and experts to achieve favorable outcomes.

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Active license to practice law in Illinois.
At least 3 years of experience in civil defense litigation.
Proven ability to manage complex cases and deliver results.
Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Strong commitment to ethical practices and client confidentiality.
