Job Title: Chief Estimator
Location: Concord, CA
Salary: 195,000.00 - 250,000.00
Requirements: Civil roadway and highway construction, paving, grading, and underground work

What You Will Be Doing
-Own and oversee all aspects of the estimating department operations
-Oversee decision-making and implement value engineering strategies
-Coordinate with estimator on bid schedule workload to prioritize resources
-Recruit, train, and retain estimating staff
-Analyze bidding risks and determine strategies for competitive advantage
-Owning and putting together a complete bid package on heavy civil projects
What you will need for this role
-Strong understanding of heavy civil construction materials, methods, and costs
-Proficiency in in HCSS Heavy Bid, Agtek, Blue Beam, P6, Office 365
-10+ years of experience as Construction Estimator or related field
-B.S. in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Admin, Architecture, or related work experience.
