Automation Technician

Position Overview
The Automation Technician is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated systems and equipment used in manufacturing and industrial processes. This role focuses on optimizing production efficiency through advanced technology and troubleshooting issues that arise in automation systems.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop automation systems and processes based on project requirements.
Install, configure, and maintain PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces).
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with automated equipment and systems to minimize downtime.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve existing automation processes.
Conduct regular maintenance and inspections on automation equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Document all processes, procedures, and modifications to automation systems.

Qualifications

Associate degree in Automation Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience working with PLC and HMI systems in an industrial environment.
Strong understanding of electrical systems and components.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
