We are a leading manufacturer of process gas compressors and we are continuing to grow. We are looking to add a dedicated After Market Sales Coordinator to our team. In this role you will be supporting the After Market Sales and Engineering Department with all required administrative duties and activities pertaining to the procuring and sales of AMS products.
Key Responsibilities
-Communicates with customers (end users, distributors, traders, etc.) regarding RFQ's and Inquiries; prepares and submits quotes; processes and maintains orders in Vantage; prepares commercial documentation per order requirements.
-Communicates with vendors (suppliers, inventory, shipping companies, etc.) for requesting quotes, placing orders, follow up with orders and deliveries.
-Communicates and Sales People and the Houston Service Shop, as well as other departments/sections such as Field Service, After Service Technical Support, Engineering, Procurement, Accounting, Production, Shipping & Receiving, etc. relating to AMS business, commercial issues, invoices, technical specifications, drawings, inventory and part numbers.
-Uses ERP system, Microsoft and other web-based programs to prepare documentation for customers, vendors, sales and others. Maintains costing information and follows markup guidelines to calculate pricing for all quotations
-Analyze, understand and comply with contract terms and conditions (domestic and international), and import/export requirements.
-Participates in business improvement projects, conducts market research and analysis. Prepares assigned weekly and monthly reports
-Organize and attend internal meetings. Other various administrative duties as assigned.
-Participate and assist in tradeshows
Qualifications
-2-yr or 4-yr degree in Economics, Business, Accounting or equivalent
-Three to five years related experience in Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and/or Procurement.
-Proficient in MS Office software: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access. As well as ERP and CRM systems.
-Excel lent oral/written communication skills.
-Well developed presentation skills.
-Excellent customer relations skills and phone etiquette.
-Maintaining up-to-date awareness of company activities, industry trends and government regulations.
-Ability to speak a second language is highly desirable.
-Capable of handling multiple tasks and working in a fast-paced environment with minimal direct guidance and supervision.
-Able to act with a very strong sense of urgency, and be self-motivated.
